We design our accessories with longevity in mind to ensure they can be enjoyed for years to come. However, we will happily take back any Elsewhere Co. item that is no longer wanted or reaches its end of life as part of our recycling program. These items will either be repaired for sale or donation as second-hand goods, disassembled for recycling or re-made into something new.

We use RCS-100 certified recycled leather, an innovative new material tackling textile waste. Up-cycled leather is a natural material which has low environmental impact. It's proudly sustainable, yet retains the beautiful look and feel of traditional leather. The production process itself creates zero manufacturing material waste. This process also produces fewer chemical emissions and uses substantially less water than conventional leather production processes - a big win for the planet.
We believe in a greener future. Looking after our precious environment will enrich us with fresh air, clean water and fertile soil, and will assist in alleviating the effects of climate change.
We're helping to restore the balance of our natural environment through our partnership with Greening Australia. For every sale made through The Elsewhere Co. we donate $1 to Greening Australia to support their revegetation work in places like The Great Barrier Reef, Tasmania's Island Ark and their nationwide bushfire recovery program.
Our accessories are thoughtfully packaged without single use plastic in a
beautiful recycled-cotton dust bag. So far, our packaging bags have diverted
32kg of cotton waste from landfill and it’s only the beginning!
To protect items in transit we use recyclable tissue paper which is acid free, FSC certified and uses soy-based inks. Our marketing materials are printed on recycled paper by a local Melbourne printer.
We use plant-based 100% compostable mail bags which are durable, waterproof and certified for both home and commercial composting. They break down within six months and leave no harmful residues behind.

We'll ensure your gift is wrapped beautifully in recyclable kraft wrapping paper + matching gift tag (both made locally in Melbourne). How Long Will It Take?
Australia (Standard delivery): 1-3 business days to arrive in most states. Perth approximately 5+ business days. Regional areas may take longer.
Australia (Express Post delivery): 1-2 business days to all capital cities (except Darwin and Perth CBD only) and some major centres. Areas outside these zones may take longer.
New Zealand: 4-6 business days.
All other international customers: Approximately 6+ business days to metro areas of major cities.
North America, Western Europe (incl. the United Kingdom), Asian and the Pacific: 6-13 business days
Rest of the world: 10-15 business days

For all deliveries from The Elsewhere Co. to the customer, we use third party shipping agents. The Elsewhere Co. cannot warrant against loss of items by the delivery service once the product has been dispatched. This does not exclude the customers rights under relevant Australian law. Please refer to our Returns Policy. *All postage and handling prices above are AUD unless otherwise stated.
The Elsewhere Co. accessories have been produced to the highest standard. However, in the event that your product is faulty send it back to us within 30 days of delivery for an exchange or full refund (including shipping). Contact us at: email@example.com.
As a goodwill gesture if you change your mind, we’re happy to refund or exchange your purchase if returned within 30 days of delivery, unused in original condition, and in the original packaging. We will provide a full refund on change of mind purchases but any shipping fees are non refundable. This applies to any shipping costs incurred on the original order as well as the return shipping. Refunds will be sent to the original purchaser’s method of payment. Unfortunately we are unable to offer change of mind refunds on sale items but are happy to exchange.

A returned or exchanged item must be accompanied by a copy of the purchase receipt. Simply email us at email@example.com. When returning a product you should carefully package it up, along with a copy of your receipt, affix the correct postage and post it to:

We recommend you use a postage service that tracks your returned package as we are not liable if it gets lost or damaged in the post.
Unless your item is faulty, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and whether it’s been approved. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment. We will send out your replacement item as soon as possible so you’re not left waiting.
Late or missing refunds
If you’re waiting on a refund, first contact your credit card company as there is often some processing time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
